Midwinter

This year too, the snow falling and accumulating cold without a sound,
It becomes a carpet of silvery-white and wraps up the town.
The way home that I walk alone is quiet enough to freeze;
Only my footsteps are faintly jarring.

Only my painful thoughts filling this chest of mine,
My pulsation quickens its pace just a little.
So as to not eradicate the fire I lit in my heart,
I count off my fingers those days when I see you.

This year too, the wind blows through making a dreary sound.
Dead leaves become a carpet and wrap up the town.
The crowded way home that I walk flurried with everything,
It makes me be deserted and continues to turn.

Only my painful thoughts filling this chest of mine,
My pulsation quickens its pace just a little.
So as to not eradicate the fire I lit in my heart,
I count of my fingers those days when I see you.

This year too, the winter passing by
Blandly without a sound,
It brings with it a faint gloom
And wraps up the town.
