演劇テレプシコーラ - ハチ

Translator's note: "Telepsychola" is the transliteration of a typo of Terpsichore, the Greek muse of dance.

Upon the stage, she opened her mouth wide.
Theatric Telepsychola

The light of the lamps that sway and slant.
This place is a fairy-tale world, see.
I'm clicking with my heels and dancing.
I forgot it in your hand.

Apple in one hand, the wolf.
"Were you the one who dropped it?" ask they.
I failed to endure the swaying world
and I fell like dead leaves.

FALLING.
My eyes are blinded, and I'm standing still.
AMAZING.
There isn't even one person in the audience.

The red thread connected to my pinky.
Tangled in telephone lines, I can't undo it.
I swallowed down one of my lines
that got caught in my throat on its way out.

Be a shadow picture.
Be a doll.
Dance and dance.
Spit out words.
Get the pistol.
Get the pistol.
Shoot out the world.

FALLING.
It's like those lips just won't spit it out.
AMAZING.
I ignored everything and I kissed it.

Un, deux, xi, la...

FALLING.
The world sways. It's slanting.
AMAZING.
"Can you remember
your last lines?"

FALLING.
My eyes are blinded, and I'm standing still.
AMAZING.
There's only you alone in the audience.

"And with that, I bid you all farewell."
Upon the stage, she smiled
and thrust the gun at her head.

ワンダーランドと羊の歌 - ハチ

"Hi nelly lan-la" is nonsense words created by Hachi. A discussion here proposes that it "means that it's alright since the gods are there, because they're even chanting it to a crying child."

"I made the addition of a summer festival into a song."

Wonderland and the Sheep's Song

Make a face like it's nothing, dog,
With a "WOW-OW" that's hurting your feelings.
Today's a rainy day.

A girl was tear-stained on the top of a roof,
And she licked a candy apple and looked at the sky.
Today's a rainy day.

Even if I sing holding a lantern,
I'll make preparations for tomorrow
And shall chant luscious words, see.
Lookit--hi nelly lan-la!

Even if I sing with the face of a fish,
I'll jump over the barbed wire
And shall play, I shall laugh, see!

The inside of this town where I sing of good-for-nothing love.
If I turn on the lights, there's nothing.
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, listen, on the signal I'll go to see you.
I'll go to welcome a new light.

Forget asking what they're name is, again
With the red public phone going, "WHOA-OH-OH."
Today's a rainy day.

The tobacco smoke got totally drenched, and again
The coughing back alley left and I went walking.
Rainy day.

Will you be ready once you prop up your antenna?
I'll show my face from the shopping district
And shall chant to the crying child.
Lookit--hi nelly lan-la!

Cram up all those "goodbyes".
Burden yourself with antinomy.
Don't cry and don't waver.

Shall I illuminate with the light in my left hand
The globe that spins in my right hand?
At those times when the color of the sky changes,
The one left in my chest is you.

I waited for the gods' return
at the rain shelter of a small-time candy store.
Come, shall we sing it, the Sheep's Song!
That lantern in your hand
Is the Sun that shines on everything.

The inside of this town where you sing songs.
Turn on the lights. Such a great thing.
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, listen, on the signal I'll go to see you.
I'll go to welcome a new light.

What's there ahead of the tunnel?
I'm going to take steps toward the outside of town.
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, listen, on the signal I'll go to see you.
I'll go to welcome a new light.

clock lock works

It moves with a cl-clatter, without resting.
Ro do ro do ran-ran-ra.
The repetitive every day.
If I look, it's like a lost cat.

They say someone will be replaced somewhere--
Ma no ma no ran-ran-ra.
Nobody notices.
They earnestly chased after numerals.

In the depths of the heart,
The door that I locked.
"You're being foolish." I told someone such,
And ignored the sound of the knocking.

I give up and say, "It won't change,"
And get hurried along by the loitering hands of the clock.
I'm delighted if it's dream,
And say with a diligent face, "May the stars have my wish."

The soldiers who were being foolish and could work with a tick-tock.
Gattan gattan ran-ran-ra.
Decision making. Aaand go.
If I look, it's pitch black, like waste.

They say morning and night will replace each other--
No ma no ma ran-ran-ra.
Nobody minds it.
They avariciously chased after numerals.

From the other side of the door,
A voice that faintly escapes.

I raise my knees and say, "It can't be helped,"
And quietly spit out jeers in a corner of the room.
Anywhere is fine. Take me away.
It doesn't even have to be His Highness the Prince who comes--

"Good evening, good morning,"
Someone says on the other side of the door.
"It's alright, whether you unlock it or not."
"Should I get through to you from here?"

I don't want to hear that kind of talk.
I don't want to hear it. No, I don't want to hear it.
Hey, hey, don't go anywhere.
Stay by my side. Let me hear some stories.

I tell a lie and say, "It's stupid,"
And I want to be noticed by somebody even so--
It's cold and I don't want to touch it,
Without unlocking it no matter how much time has lapsed.

I don't want to work within my coffin,
And be saying something like, "I'm still fine with it."
The hands spin, forever and on.
I flat out cry at the sound of tender knocking.

"I was the first on Halloween.
Happy Halloween!"

Mrs. Pumpkin's Comical Dream

Jacarandas bloomed. An oratorical meeting that takes turn serving rudeness.
Where shall I go? The song that I merrily cried.

Jack laughs: "Leave behind your heretic emotions."
Chocolate, please. The song that I lowly cried.

A scarecrow aimlessly was choked and shook.
What I never had and hate is pumpkin pie.

Hey. Lalulalula. Will you dance with me?
Mrs. Moon who still sleeps.
"You called? You called?" says TurnipHead.
Look, the caskets came to be nowhere.
How boring.

It was like the pylon sensitive to trumped-up magic
And the witch were disoriented under the overhead.

Jack put on airs: "Leave behind your obscene emotions!"
Mandrakes bloomed. It was like they held a grudge.

The goat is planning something.
"Accept it, accept it."
I wait for the train.

Let's hold hands. The two were forgiven.
Within tubes that come to go around.
"Dominance, recessiveness, heaps of corpses all around?"
Look, a display of new products. Within the swarming ants,
Mrs. Moon who still sleeps.

"Ah! Mrs. Pumpkin! You came up to greet me!"
Might this dream, before I knew it, have destroyed the dream?

I want to still be dancing in this place!
Through a dream-like derangement.
"Recessive, recessive idiotic silence."
Look, the lanterns lit with spat-out hedons and fire--

Hey. Lalulalula. Will you dance with me?
Though something of a response should come,
"Too bad! So sad!" says TurnipHead.
Look, the caskets came to be nowhere.
How boring.

Within the sunken mud.

Within a bush where I waited for morning.

Within a train.

Ah, Mrs. Pumpkin.

Ah, Mrs. Pumpkin.

Qualia - ハチ

Author's Comments
"■ In the colored days, a precious person.
■ The 'mouse soldier' will graduate this time.
They will return to being an ordinary boy."

Qualia

In a pure white world, there is nothing.
No sky, no dinner menus, no dogs, no horizon, no ground,
No mothers, no shadows, not even warmth.
Not a thing exists.
Just one person is there, the girl I excluded.

Where am I?
No one answers my question.
If I look around, it's such a world
Of only white that it's sad.

There are things that I want to convey
To somebody, listen, to somebody.
Even if I look up, there is no sky,
Not even the surface I should be standing on.

What's the purpose of this kind of world where I can't even hear someone's voice?
Unbelievable me breathes here.

If that's so...

Making blurring stars
Makes me aware that I am myself.
I'll color the white world
With spilled colors everywhere.

Come.

A sky-colored paper airplane.
Wind-colored soap bubbles.
Would these suit me as well?
Peach-colored hair ornaments.

Purple birds come, and on a green swing set,
Let their worn-out voices sound.
They give me yellow hard candy.

The colored world is bustlingly paralyzed.
Even so, my body is still unbelievable...

I,

To know the color of my eyes,
I need someone who I can perceive.
Here I am all alone.
I don't know my colors.

"Hey,"
The girl quietly began to call.
Of course, there is no reply.
What there is is vivid and noisy colors, and molded objects that would never catch one's attention.
"This, is it what you hoped for?"
The girl does not know.
In this world, what is there, and what is not?
Is the color that she sees truly the correct color?
And in the first place, what was correct, and what was a mistake? Upon the girl's cheeks, tears flowed.

"In truth, I was just lonely."
"I wanted somebody to be beside me."

Within the garbage of color,
You were beside me.
In your extended hand
Was a red, red apple.
"It's a color that suits you, it's a color that suits you, so I'll give it to you."

If both puzzled thoughts and words
Can be thought of as lovely,
Surely I can keep on walking
Within sufficient colors.

Making blurring stars,
I know that it's the world I see with you.
We'll color the white world
With spilled colors everywhere.

"Hey."
"What?"
"...It's nothing."
