"We're not freakin' garbage!"

Dystopia Zipangu

Since the time we had been born, OUR future
being eaten away of everything,
there wasn't anything left of it.
If we rely on our momentary dreams that were being suspended,
the road we follow will be ruin and regret.

We halt thinking of how we're in such a bind that our breaths
could be blocked, and we come to want to keep falling.
The sky that will never be clear again
and the prosperity that won't arrive ever again......
Is it said to even be better just not
knowing of the past?

OUR voices that had been taken up by dreams
and hope too fell in drops to the earth without echoing.
What's the meaning
for us being born in this kind of an era, you think?
Questions that have nowhere to go lurk.

Only the ruins and compensation of the splendor of the past
are every one of the THINGS that reflect in OUR current eyes.
Those who gain knowledge of the once-upon-a-time all age
and do nothing but grieve and moan about now.

When they open their mouths, they talk about the good ol' days. They admire them.
They're wanting to still dream, saying it was good long ago.
How much freakin' value is there
to the words of they who are going
To die irresponsibly
before US, you think?

WE who had been taken up by dreams and hope too
live through today, fooling ourselves only.
What should we
do in this kind of an era, you think?
Questions that have nowhere to go lurk.

The severe "future" is insufficient,
and our hearts won't operate for us much.
Although they're dried-out emotions,
and though we're already fairly SHOWING our AGE,
There should be something that we can
still surely do.

Although we can't embrace hope tomorrow so much
that we hesitate to cheer someone on,
Living in the same era, we can if we so much as
understand each other's
shared destiny and stick together.

Though I can't think that something'll change,
even so......
